Here’s a list of common questions I get from clients.  Click a question to expand the answer.  If you’d like more information, I’m available any time by phone to answer any questions or particulars you may have.

Sessions

Do I need to get my hair and make-up done?
Nope! I will have a professional hair and make-up artist at our session. Just show up ready to get done up! She will take care of everything for you. You just sit back, enjoy the music, and relax.
Do you shoot headshots?
Yes, all the time. Many of my clients are actors, models, or business professionals seeking professional headshots in the Nashville area.
How long is a session?
The average session is between two and four hours long. During that time, we can shoot two or three looks. Engagement and Bridal sessions vary in time greatly, depending on your schedule.
What is a session?
A session is a two to four hour booking for portraits, headshots, or glamour clients.

Delivery

Can I pick the images I want online?
Yes. Your photos can be made available to view on the web for proofing purposes, for an additional fee. If you select this option, you will have the opportunity to make selections for retouching. If you choose to proof your images online, retouching cannot begin until you have made your selection of images.
How long after my session until I receive my photos?
Your finished images will be delivered to you within two weeks, unless otherwise specified. Your photos will be delivered in web-ready JPG format for sharing on social sites such as Facebook. Other delivery methods are available. If you have specific needs, I am happy to provide solutions to suit them.
How many images will I receive?
For standard sessions, you will receive the finished and retouched versions of a select number of photographs from each look at your session. There is no predetermined amount and it varies from 5-25.
Additionally, your complete shoot is available upon request. I pride myself on quality and thus prefer only to deliver finished stellar images, but I am happy to accommodate all additional requests.
How will I receive my images?
The session includes a DVD with your images on it. They are formatted ready for web-upload for sharing to social sites like Facebook. High-resolution DVDs and prints are also available.
Will you professionally retouch my images?
Yes. Retouching is executed on a selection of photographs chosen by the photographer, unless otherwise arranged. Your invoice will outline any specific retouching requests that you have made.

Details

How do I make my payment?
Ash Wright Photography accepts payments via PayPal, cash, or cashiers checks with immediate processing.
Personal checks are accepted but must clear before the order is processed, so please allow for 3-4 weeks for delivery if paying by personal check.
How do I make my wedding payment?
Wedding investment payments are paid on a schedule outlined at the time you book your wedding with Ash Wright Photography. If you cancel
your wedding, you are no longer obligated to pay the balance of your investment. However, as outlined in your wedding agreement, all investment paid prior to cancellation is nonrefundable.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, to guarantee that your session date is held exclusively for you, a nonrefundable deposit of 50% is required to reserve your date. Deposits must be made within 24 hours of your booking.
What if I need to cancel my session?
Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance of your session date. Cancellations within 72 hours of your reservation will be charged 100% of the creative fee. All deposits are nonrefundable.
